There has certainly been a difference between the excitement of Snakey's meeting of her milestones compared to Puppy and Ratty's. Milestone meeting for #3 has been observed with fanfare, yet taken in a lot more stride compared to the other two. Snakey had her first solid food today @ 3pm - a cube of juicy, ripe mango which she sucked on and greeted with great relish. She is 5 months and 18 days, with decent head control, can rollover independently (which she mastered on 11 September @ 10.45am, aged 4 months 25 days), but not yet able to sit up unsupported.
Puppy and Ratty were visibly very excited over the entire event, Ratty kept wanting to feed her, but had to be told this could only go as fast as Snakey wanted it to be. It was lovely having DH present - great moment for him to witness.
On the move back to the UK, we rang a few schools yesterday. There is a space for Puppy at the village school, but it seems like 2008 has been a bit of a baby boom - no spaces at all in Year 1 near us. Where Ratty is going to end up, is beyond me. Will that me I remain in Singapore for bit? I would like to.
