So, Deepavali and Hari Raya Puasa have passed. I was wanting a curry, but can't afford a takeaway. So, the next best option....make my own.

Pappadoms

Chicken Mughlai

Aloo Gobi

Final result.....yum yum

What's Hari Raya Puasa? I rather spent Diwali, watching CNBC, eating pizza.

Hehe, you and me both :) My first 'from scratch' curry....ever! :)

John,
Hari Raya Puasa means 'Day of Celebration Fasting', popular expression for Eid al-Fitr in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, only I dunno somehow over time, the Malays (?and indonesians) have translated the Arabic into Bahasa Melayu, spelling it as 'AidilFitri'. Same for Diwali I suppose, it gets spelt as 'Deepavali' in these parts of South East Asia :)
